One of the components of our playgrounds is Gymnastic Rings. Many of us have no idea what a valuable product it is for children; how much the rings can give them. But this is a real sporty equipment right at home! And how many advantages it gives to kids!

It’s not surprising that ring exercises are permanent in the program of the Summer Olympic Games, and are also a part of the gymnastics competitions at world and continental championships.
What do they give our children?

Endurance
We all know that today’s generation is one of the most inactive ones in the history of humanity: we travel mainly by car, watch a lot of TV, rarely walk, children spend a lot of time at home in front of devices or just because of the long, cold winter, etc. A daily active play with the sport rings strengthens the body and makes it more flexible. Children of course like to hang on holding the rings using their own weight to load on the muscles. For them it’s just a game; however, it’s an effective workout to keep fit at the same time!

Posture
Children have to sit a lot at their desks at school and home doing homeworks. The spine and back muscles as well as the digestive system are most affected by that way life. When children swing on the rings, their spine is stretched, and the muscles are relieved of tension. Just think of that…

Equilibrium
Equilibrium is extremely important function of the body ensuring normal functioning of it.
Maintaining balance depends on a complex interaction, mainly of the vestibular, musculocutaneous and visual analyzer, regulated by the central nervous system
In a nut shell, rotating on the rings, children strengthen their vestibular apparatus, and more complex exercises improve this function comprehensively.

Mental development
We all know that physical development directly affects the mental development of children. By training the muscles, we train our brain. During learning the lessons, you can take a healthy break (several exercises on the rings). After such a break, concentration improves and productivity increases (since a brain is feeded with oxigen and glucose).

Makes children happier
Any physical activity helps to produce endorphin; it is also known as “hormone of hapiness.”
It is proved that after half an hour of training, the concentration of “hormones of happiness” in the blood increases 5–7 times. But how happy parents are when they see their happy and healthy children!
